Below are several easy to follow steps to help you get active in the democratic process. Should you need more information, the New Jersey Division of Elections website is a great resource.

Vote!

You can vote in one of two ways:

Vote By Mail

In New Jersey, any voter can now vote by mail for any election. You do not need a reason to vote by mail.

You can apply for a Vote By Mail Ballot by completing a Vote By Mail Ballot Application and mailing the application to your County Clerk up until 7 days prior to the election.

You can also apply in person to the County Clerk until 3pm the day prior to the election.

The County Clerk's office cannot accept faxed copies of a Vote By Mail Ballot Application since an original signature is required.
